This is so easy, I can't believe I never thought of it. I found this easy to make bookmark in the Martha Stewart Living Magazine. If I need a bookmark, I usually use post-it notes or use the subscription card out of a magazine. Isn't this prettier than using the subscription card?

You only need decorative scissors and an envelope. Martha used a pretty paper sack, this was all that I had. If you recycle, this would be great to do with envelopes you receive in the mail. I know I always get pretty envelopes with birthday cards, Christmas, etc. instead of throwing away the envelope, make bookmarks.

Just cut the corners off, simple!

Oh how clever...better stock up on envelopes, or save ones that bills come in that I usually throw out.
awesome!!!! great idea, i love that you used envelopes, and you can always decorate the envelope to mark the pages you like more than others, and oh so many possibillity's. love it!!!
Great idea!

Great idea...I love your blog. cherry
Genuis! Thanks for sharing. That's a "reinvention" if I ever saw one!
Great idea! I think, though, instead of using the envelopes that bills come in, I'm going to cut the actual bills up & use them as bookmarks! (P.S.- thanks for the candy!! I know how hard it must've been for you to part with those Turtles!)
What a cute idea. I'm glad I found your blog - I'll definitely be coming back!!
