Breakfast Recipe

A couple of months ago My friend, Elizabeth, served these at her brunch. They disappeared as soon as she had them out of the oven. This morning I decided to give them a try. I did not have Monterey Jack so I substituted Cheddar.

Here's what is in them.

One package of sausage
1 cup ranch dressing
1 1/2 cup grated Monterey Jack cheese
pepper
package of pre-made mini Fillo shells (found in the freezer section next to the pie crust)

Brown your sausage, add dressing, cheese and pepper. Fill shells with mixture and bake at 350 for 5 min. or until cheese has melted. Serve warm. That is it, so simple. My husband loved these, my kids would not try them. They said it was too early to eat dressing.

The next time I make these, I will leave out some of the dressing and half the recipe. I had 15 shells but had enough of the mixture to make 30.

These look great! Since I'm done being made at my family, I may actually cook for them this weekend. :)) Thanks!
