Giveaway

During the night we got hit with ice. Today everyone is home, no school, no work, and we have nothing to do. So what better way to pass the time than to get out my silhouette maker and make "Wall Words".

Yesterday I posted my closet on the Metamorphosis Monday and just about every other comment mentioned the "His" and "Hers" on the doors. I wasn't even going to mention the "His" and "Her", I guess it was a good thing I did.

So today since I have nothing to do, and nothing to post about, I'm going to give 2 "Welcome" (like the one on my front door) to 2 different people.
They measure 14 1/2" x 2 3/4". All you have to do is leave a comment and tell me what you like to do when the weather is bad and you can't get out of the house. I will draw 2 names on Thursday.

Hi Wendy! I love your wall words. The "his" and "hers" on the closet doors are genius. The "welcome" wall words are very cute too.

I just realized you're in Missouri and got hit by the same storm we did. We're home today too and so far I've blogged, and managed to troll around the internet while watching HGTV at the same time :). I think it's actually pretty nice to be forced to be home for a day and just sit and enjoy our house.

Hey Wendy. Congratulations!!!! I made that trivia question a little too easy. ;-) Send me your address, please. I love the welcome sign. That's beautiful.

What a great idea! I thought your closet letters were so neat. Of course you know me, letters and words all over the house. lol

Well, we're supposed to be snowed in tomorrow according to the weather channel. I think it will start here around 11 or so tonight. I went to the store and bought cookie mix and peanut butter cups to have some baking fun with the kids tomorrow. I saw the idea on a blog just this morning and just had to run out and get the ingredients. So that's what we'll be doing tomorrow! Oh, and blogging, of course. ;)

Hi, found you through Met Monday. I love the closet re-do and your hall has given me so many great ideas. Thanks. I would love to 'win' one of your welcomes. We just painted our front door on our covered porch this fall and 'Welcome' would look so great with the black urns on either side. A great idea.

When I can't get out of the house due to the weather, I like to sit around & watch T.V., doze off & on, wake up & thank God that the cigarette I was holding when I dozed off didn't start the couch on fire. Then I think about ALL the things I could be getting done, but it seem's much nicer to snuggle up in a blanket with Angel by my feet & cats all over my lap!

Where do you get your supplies for the words? I have a machine but no idea where to get the material.

I love your welcoming front door! You make these wall words? I have bought two kits of premade and I love them.

I spent the day weather day yesterday cooped up w/ my grandson, playing Jumanji, competing against each other in puter games & watching an old Don Knotss movie, How to Frame a Figg. That would be my favorite way to spend a bad weather day. ;o)

I would really, really like to know more about how you make the wall words. Especially if I am not lucky enough to win one of these. ;o)

on gray days i just wrap in a warm fluffy blanket {porring kitties on my lap}, put on my soft knitted socks, take a bunch of great magazines or take a hot bath, light the fire in the fireplace, drink some hot chocolate, ... very relaxing quality time!
