The bead board is up! The entire look of the hall has changed. As you can see in the picture not only did we put it on the wall, but the ceiling also. A couple of weeks ago From House To Cozy Home posted her dinning room ceiling. She had bead board on the ceiling and I really liked it. Click on the link and go take a look at her blog. We added new lights and I had the ugly popcorn ceiling, so this was the perfect solution. I don't know why I waited so long to do this. I'm loving the bead board. I have so many plans for it now.
Excuse my paint sample, I started out painting a small patch. I got a little carried away and my small sample turned in to half the wall. The color on the wall is Hopsack from Sherwin Williams. I had a couple of colors I tried, and I think I'm going with this one. Another color I really liked was Latte also from Sherwin Williams. It wasn't dark enough. It is on the same card as the Hopsack, so I think the Latte will go on the ceiling. Also on the same card is Kilim Beige, I'm thinking about this color for the bead board. Still undecided, I'm really liking the lower bead board white. I will have to try a sample and live with it a couple of days.
In this picture we have the wall painted with Hopsack and the ceiling is painted with the Latte. The bead board is left white.
Next on the list of things to do, trim. Can't wait for this part

Look at you go! It looks amazing so far. I really love the color you picked out, I love neutrals because they are so versatile when you want to change out the colors of accessories.
Thanks so much for the mention. I'm flattered that you love our dining room ceiling as much as we do. :)
