Hallway Redo

Yesterday I was spending way too much time on blog land daydreaming about my new hallway. I had to tear myself away from reading when my phone started ringing. I answered it and heard the 5 words every girl starting a home project wants to hear, "I will be there tomorrow".

This is my new project, the hallway. My original plan was to scrape the popcorn ceiling. After spending time looking at others' home redo projects, my "scrape the ceiling" quickly grew to include new lights, bead board, painting and crown molding.

Here are my Before Pictures. Say "Goodbye" to the early 90's Home Interior. At the end of the project, that will not be returning.

Hi Wendy,
Very cool! I love the floor. Is that paint?
You should post this for Susan's "Metamorphasis Monday" that she's just now starting.

Cannot wait to see the end result...a new wall color and some crown molding are really going to change your hallway dramatically (for the better)!

Timothy,

Thanks for linking the site. I agree, crown molding is going to change the look of the hallway. I'm so tired of the "plain builder's box".
